  • We're adding on to our product line (we sell organic cleaning products) - when do you create a new brand?

The answer depends on how closely related to your current products the new product line is. If it's closely related, or complementary, then it may be a perfect addition to what you already sell to your customers.

If the new product line is a departure from your current products, then you may want to look at building a new brand that could stand apart from your current one. You could always try your new products with your current customers to see if they accept and integrate your new products into their purchases - if not, a new brand and target market it is.
