  • We are moving our business about 10 kilometres away - I'm worried that our customers won't follow us. What can we do?

It depends on where you're new store is located, if there's access to free parking, and if there are other stores that would attract your target market.

Before you leave, make sure you contact all your customers to let them know that you are moving, and that you look forward to them continuing to be your customers. Provide them with some sales promotion such as a fridge magnet, business card with a coupon attached, or other incentive to get them to visit your new location.

You could consider placing ads in the local community newspaper to promote a discount program for their first purchase at your new location.
